Simpler Networks was founded on innovation in technology. Some of our company's key players started searching for a way to automate the main distribution frame (MDF) as early as the mid-1990s. They brought their findings and their talent to Simpler Networks and started an aggressive R&D program.

The result was our micro-relay technology, based on MEMS, or micro-electromechanical systems technology, which is the technological backbone of our EZ line of products. We are the first MDF automation provider to use MEMS, which is faster, more scalable and more reliable than robotics. Our MEMS-based technology makes possible a scalable and low-cost architecture that replaces and automates manual distribution frames, to save companies money on service automation and maintenance, and get their services to market faster.
