EZ-MDF ARCHITECTURE
In order to achieve a completely non-blocking and scalable solution, the EZ-MDF product line is designed with building block architecture. The two main blocks are the Access and the Crosspoint shelves. Scalability is achieved by adding building blocks and linking them together with internal cables. A typical connection passes through one Subscriber (SUB)-side Access shelf, then through a Crosspoint shelf and finally through one office equipment (OE)-side Access shelf.
