With a small footprint of 6.3W x 8 L x 5.5 H mm, a body size of 4.3 W x 8 L x 5.3 H mm and requiring 50 percent less space than a conventional relay, its design makes it ideal for a high-density application.

Dramatically lower manufacturing cost
By replacing the coil, which represents a large portion of the size and cost with a Shape Memory Alloy Wire (SMAW), the manufacturing costs are reduced by more than half when compared to standard telecom relays. Simpler Networks’ fully automated SMAW manufacturing assembly process combined with automated optical inspection also contributes to this extraordinary cost effectiveness.
